Dogs playing in Ruthin field

Doggy Daycare

Doggy Daycare in its essence is similar to going to school for dogs. One of the school buses picks them up from home in the morning as part of the service and they get brought back to Four Paws Inn to play freely off lead all day with similar size and temperament dogs. Dogs are grouped off into different fields so as to ensure they have the best time without compromising safety or injury from different size and energy dogs. Covered lounges are accessible for quiet and comfort times throughout the day and the whole day is overseen and monitored by a range of experienced staff.

A range of activity centres and features of the facilities are readily available for all the dogs. These range from streams, lake, sensory areas, slides, balance beams, trampolines, woods and climbing tyres to name a few.

Every new customer is entitled to a free trial. This is set up to mimic the exact Daycare service including the taxi so you can get to fully experience the service and hopefully see the positive results with your dog. All you need to do to arrange a free trial is message us via the what app link and we will get it all organised to suit your schedule. There is no obligation either way. We actively encourage all new boarders to use their free daycare trial also so we can get to know your dog before their sleepover.

The whole facility has been custom built specifically for dogs - there are no stock or equine fences or borrowed stock fields in sight. It has been built and designed for optimum safety and to ensure all efforts can be made on the dogs having fun freely.

We’ve provided a range of dog exercise services over the years and gathered data for each in an attempt to find the best overall service to give them everything they need in 1 day and our findings were as follows;

The social interaction, similar to school for children, has great benefits to for the dogs. We’ve found dogs to make great friendships whilst with us. The bonds some dogs have with each other is very touching and its a great privilege for us to be able to play a part in their positive development.

We get some enquiries from owners of very nervous dogs, some are rescues who have not had the best start in life. It’s incredibly special to see these dogs gain confidence with us and develop into playful, sociable and happy dogs. Some experiences have been so touching its bought us and the owners to tears over the years. Some of our testimonials may touch on these experiences.

Following a day of fun, making friends and plenty of exercise they then get back on the bus and brought home late afternoon tired and content and not needing any additional walking for at least a a day out two in our experience.

It’s not uncommon for Dogs to be quite still and tired following Doggy Daycare. We often get sent pictures and videos of dogs passed out or simulating running/playing in their sleep clearly re living their fun experience.

Doggy Daycare is priced from £18/dog per day based on location. This price is including their school bus.

A free trial day is offered to all new customers with no obligation what so ever. This is a great opportunity for us to meet your dog and monitor how they enjoy social environments. It’s important to note any new dog is gradually introduced to a small group of dogs who we know to be particularly welcoming and affectionate.

We can offer discounts for multiple dog households if they can share a pen on the bus.
