Boarding

Moonjoon Boarding Kennels logo

Boarding is essentially like Daycare but with the added benefit of a sleepover. Unlike conventional Kennelling our Daycare is an integral part of Boarding. Dogs who are in the catchment area of the buses are collected and dropped off in line with Daycare schedules AM & PM as part of the service. Self Drop off and collection is required on Weekends as the buses are stationary during this time - unless agreed separately.

At the end of a Doggy Daycare day boarders are given their evening feeds and introduced to their own comfy pen to settle for the night. We encourage owners to supply a bed or blanket from home as this gives them a familiar scent. We do also recommend they are continued to be fed on their usual food whilst with us as any sudden changes can result in stomach upsets. If your pet has a particular teddy or toy please by all means bring it with them. Some dogs like to sleep in open crates at home, we would encourage continuing that with us. The more we can simulate a home from home environment the better we find they enjoy the stay.

We charge boarding by the day. It is £4 on top of the Daycare fee to sleep over and a normal daycare fee for the day they leave. For example a local dog staying for 3 days Monday to Wednesday would cost £62.00 (£22 + £22 + £18) and they would be collected Monday Am and dropped off Wednesday PM. Each price is subject to location.

We have our own brand of dog food and treats so can provide food for a small fee should you prefer this option.
